The P.E.I. Arthritis Society wants to give people living with chronic pain a chance to learn about benefits of infrared sauna and yoga.
Dynamic Fitness is hosting the society’s event, “Making ‘Rheum’ for Arthritis: A Family Effort,” later this month.
“It’s important to keep moving, to keep doing the things that take care of your joints,” says Dynamic Fitness founder and Olympic gold medalist Dave (Eli) MacEachern.
“One of the best things is doing yoga in the Dynamic Fitness infrared sauna, the biggest in the world. It helps to reduce stress, relax the muscles, and is especially good for people living with arthritis.”
Those living with arthritis, their friends, family and support team can visit Dynamic Fitness on Jan. 27 from noon to 1 p.m. to take part and learn about services in their community that help make “rheum” for arthritis in their lives.
