A FoodGrains fundraising feast is today at Zion Presbyterian Church in Charlottetown.

Roger Balderson, one of the organizers, says the event will feature chowder, chili and, for a special dessert, P.E.I.’s own Cows ice cream.

The feast begins at 6 p.m., and the $15 tickets are available at the church office at 135 Prince St. or at the door.

Over the past 10 years, through Canadian FoodGrains Bank grow projects, hundreds of thousands of meals have been provided for the hungriest in the world, says Balderson.

“This is a tasty way to support our life-changing, and life-saving, mission to the needs of the world,” he said.
