HomeSense will celebrate the grand opening of its new location in Charlottetown beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22.
Located at 202 Buchanan Dr., this store will offer more than 18,000 square feet of brand name and designer home fashions at up to 60 per cent less when compared to similar department and specialty store items.
“We are very excited about opening our new location in Charlottetown,” said Colleen Uncao, HomeSense spokeswoman, in a news release.
“The Charlottetown HomeSense will provide our customers, who live and work in the area, with the convenience, value and selection for which HomeSense has become synonymous.”

She says new items will arrive in the store weekly.
From 800-thread-count Italian sheets to gourmet kitchenware from France, the new HomeSense location will feature top-quality brand name finds to distinctive décor from around the world — including bedding, furniture, decorative accessories, dinnerware and storage solutions.
“Customers can look forward to browsing in an attractive, easy-to-shop environment through extra wide, well-lit aisles filled with everything from Egyptian cotton towels to Portuguese ceramics,” Uncao said.
The grand opening ceremony will take place at 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Regular store hours are Monday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 12 noon to 5 p.m.
