Atelka is adding 200 new customer contact jobs in Charlottetown. The company hopes it will be able to fill the positions.
For the second time in a year, the Charlottetown labour market is getting a boost as Atelka is seeking 200 new employees for its Charlottetown division.
Last October, Atelka launched the “Joptopia” campaign, where they were looking for a large increase of employees due to acquiring a new major client; one of Canada’s largest wireless communication companies.
With expanded responsibilities for this communication company, Atelka is once again marketing that “Jobtopia Is On” as they are immediately looking to add 200 new positions for their Charlottetown location.
“It’s exciting to bring these 200 new job opportunities to our community,” says Carissa Stewart, director, corporate projects at Atelka.
“The strong level of potential candidates, and tremendous customer satisfaction from our current team, made Charlottetown the ideal location for this expansion.”
Founded in 2003, Atelka offers a full range of customer services, including customer support, telemarketing, technical support and backoffice services. The firm launched the Charlottetown division of Atelka in 2010.
As part of the new Jobtopia recruitment initiatives, Atelka is having an open house job fair on Wednesday, Sept. 10 from 1-3 p.m. Along with refreshments and giveaways, the open house allows guests an opportunity to talk with current staff and get a sense of the environment. Atelka will also be conducting interviews on the spot for those who attend.
