Connaughton confirmed to run relay

Athletics Canada makes it official

New Haven’s Jared Connaughton will run the 4x100-metre relay Friday afternoon.

Athletics Canada announced the team on Twitter this morning. It also includes Gavin Smellie, Seyi Smith and Justyn Warner.

Connaughton will run the third leg.

The relay starts at 3:45 p.m. with Canada in lane three of the first heat.
