SoccerStop P.E.I. F.C. started the McCain New Brunswick Premier Soccer League with a 7-0 victory Saturday over Fundy United.

Cole MacMillan scored twice to pace P.E.I. F.C. during a wet start to the game at the UPEI turf.

Scoring singles were Dillon Wight, Jimmy Mayaleh, Brett Hogan, Jared Murphy and Adam Lowther.

Brett MacDonald was the winning keeper.

The two teams meet again today at 1 p.m. at UPEI.

Elsewhere around the league, the Fredericton Wanderers defeated F.C. Chaleur 3-0.
