Kim Dolan scored deuces in two of the last three ends to defeat Lisa Jackson 6-4 in nine ends Saturday night to qualify for the semifinal at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts provincial women’s curling championship.
Dolan scored singles in the second and fourth ends while Jackson had singles in the third, fifth, sixth and eighth ends in the tiebreaker.
The Dolan rink, the defending champs, meets Kathy O’Rourke Sunday at 2 p.m. in the semifinal. O’Rourke beat Dolan 7-4 Thursday in the opening draw of the five-team championship.
The winner plays Suzanne Birt, who went 4-0 in the round robin, in the final at 7 p.m. at the Charlottetown Curling Complex.
Dolan has won the P.E.I. title nine times, while Birt and O’Rourke have each won six titles.
