Hurricanes up at half

Hey guys, here's where we stand at half. -- The Holland College men's basketball Hurricanes are in for a fight in the second half in their ACAA championship semifinal match in Fredericton. After jumping out to a 14-point lead to end the first quarter, the Mount St. Vincent Mystics closed on an 8-0 run in the second quarter to give the top-seeded Hurricanes a 32-25 lead at halftime. ACAA First Team All-Star and Rookie of the Year Chase Bowden leads the Hurricanes with 14 points and nine rebounds, while fellow First Team All-Star Alvin Parker has six points, five assists and four rebounds. For Mount St. Vincent, Brandon Doyle leads the way with six points, while Ryan McPhee has four points and five rebounds. The winner of this game will play either the host St. Thomas Tommies or the Crandall University Chargers in tomorrow's final at 3:30 p.m.
