Summerside lose by four to Moncton

The Summerside Storm lost 110-106 to the Moncton Miracles Thursday in the National Basketball League of Canada.

The game was tied 48-48 at the half while the Miracles went to the fourth quarter up nine.

The Storm battled back to take the lead five minutes into the fourth but Moncton’s Oliver McNally hit a shot with three minutes to go to give the Miracles a lead they would not relinquish.

Brandon Robinson led the Storm with 25 points while Greg Plummer had 21. Omari Johnson had 15 points and 13 rebounds while Antonio Ballard scored 14 points in the loss.

Devin Sweetney led the Miracles with 28 while Isaac Butts added 24.

The win improves the Miracles to 16-20 while the loss dropped the Storm to 18-12.

The Storm travel to Montreal Saturday to play the Jazz at 8 p.m.
