Weber's last-minute goal leads Islanders past Remparts in QMJHL

Dexter Weber's fifth goal of the season broke a 3-3 with 31 seconds left in the third period as the Charlottetown Islanders got by the Quebec Remparts 4-3 Sunday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Bradley Kennedy had a pair of goals for the Islanders while Filip Rydstrom also scored.

Bronson Beaton, Aaron Dutra and Auguste Impose replied for the Remparts.

Mason McDonald gets the win in net with 24 saves while both of Quebec's netminders saw action. Callum Booth stopped all seven shots he faced before Evgeny Kiselev came in and made 23 saves.

On Saturday, the Islanders fell 3-1 in Shawinigan. Kameron Kielly's 10 goal of the season was the only goal by Charlottetown. Goaltender Matt Welsh made 35 saves in the loss.

Alexis D'Aoust had a pair of goals for the Cataractes while Danny Moynihan had the other.
