Austin Kosack scored 4:43 into overtime as the host Moncton Wildcats defeated the Charlottetown Islanders 5-4 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League play.
Jacob Sweeney and Conor Garland each had a goal and an assist while Zack MacEwen and Kevin Klima also scored.
Oliver Cooper had two goals and an assist to pace the Islanders. Filip Rydstrom and Nicolas Leblond also scored.
Samuel Blais had two assists while singles went to Kameron Kielly, Daniel Sprong, Filip Chlapik and Jake Coughler.
Blade Mann-Dixon allowed three goals on eight shots before being replaced by Keven Bouchard, who stopped 25 of 26 shots, for the win. Matthew Welsh made 33 saves in the loss.
The Islanders led 3-0 eight minutes in but the game was tied 3-3 after the first and second periods. The Wildcats improve to 30-10-5-1 while the Isles are 16-21-5-2. Charlottetown plays its third game in three days Sunday when it hosts the Halifax Mooseheads at 3 p.m.
