Randy Cameron signs with pro hockey team

Randy Cameron of Clyde River has signed with ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators.

The 25-year-old forward collected five goals and 16 assists in 28 games as an alternate captain with the St. Thomas University of the Atlantic University Sport hockey conference.

In his four seasons with the Tommies, Cameron tallied 27 goals and 39 assists in 95 games.

Cameron played for four seasons with the Moncton Wildcats of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League where he had 72 goals and 125 assists in 256 games.

He was teammates with former Gwinnett goaltender Louis Domingue on the 2009-10 Moncton QMJHL championship team, and was an alternate captain his final two seasons with the Wildcats.
