Session will include a review of 2013-14 season and a look ahead to the future

Charlottetown Islanders fans will have an opportunity Sunday to hear about the club’s inaugural season and its future.

George Matthews will host a live Inside the Islanders with general manager Grant Sonier and head coach Gordie Dwyer as part of fan appreciation day.

“I am going to show people why we made the moves we made and what our plan is moving forward,” Sonier said. “I want our fans to understand what we did this year.”

Fans will also have the opportunity to ask questions in an open mic question and answer session.

“We can never lose sight that people are spending their hard earned money to come watch our team play,” Sonier said. “I can’t commend our fans enough.”

The session will take place starting at 1 p.m. at the Eastlink Centre.
