Vipers host Maniacs for Game 3 tonight in the IJHL

The Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers will get a chance to grab a stranglehold on the Island Junior Hockey League championship series tonight on home ice.

The Vipers lead the best-of-seven series with the Montague Total Assets Fitnesss Maniacs 2-0.

Game 3 will get underway tonight at Community Gardens at 7:30 p.m.

The Maniacs will host Game 4 on Saturday at 7:45 p.m.

The Vipers won the opening game 7-3 in Kensington and the second game 7-6 in overtime Saturday in Montague.

The series winner will advance to the Don Johnson Cup Eastern Canadian junior B championship in Port Hawkesbury, N.S., April 21 to 27.
