Maniacs get chance to tie IJHL final series at home tonight

MONTAGUE — The Montague Maniacs will host the Kensington Moase Plumbing and Heating Vipers tonight at 7 p.m. for Game 2 of their Island Junior Hockey League championship series.

The Vipers won the opening game 7-3 Sunday in Kensington.

Brett Hogan (3-1), Jordan May hew (2-1) and Spencer Montgomery (1-2) scored for the Vipers. Ryan Kelly and Adam Wright each had two assists.

Damon MacDonald (2) and Matt Myers (1-2) had the Maniacs goals. Matt Higgins had two assists.

Grant Grady was the winning goalie.

Game 3 is Thursday in Kensington at 7:30 p.m.
