Wow Islander....you have no clue what was done this season. After 10 years of patchwork plans, we get a REAL hockey person in charge and after the team failed to respond to a Oct/Nov freefall, the management took what assets we had and turned them into the following: 6 1st round picks over the this year and next, muptiple 2nd and 3rd round picks where some gems can be found, legitimate prospects in McDonald (G), Henley and Duchenes (D) along with having Keilley, Sprong and Goulet up front to build around. Junior hockey requires a team to sometimes tear everything down and start anew. Try to be patient and let Sonier work this plane out....3 of those 6 ist round picks are getting flipped back at this year's draft for immediate and talented players to come in and upgrade the lineup. It's a 4 year window in junior hockey and this was year 1 for the new ownership group and management. Time to stop lumping the Savard regime and their failings with this new group. Attendance was up this season even with the moves.....smart people can see what is happening and are buying in.

Savard and company knew this was not going to work on PEI After 10 yrs the team tried new things but we are still not getting a winning team. Sonier came in like a strom but made some questionable moves that just have not worked out. Halifax will put them out tonight 4 straight. What is the franchise costing us overall? We are a hockey Province but we have win a lot more games and put twice as many fans in the Eastlink Centre to make this work. Lets her about all the cost, look and the product and than decide if we can make it work, Can't keep throwing bad money at bad money
