The Charlottetown Islanders losing streak has hit 10 games.
Ivan Barbashev had three goals and two assists to lead the Moncton Wildcats to a 7-1 win over the Islanders Friday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Vladimir Tkachev had a goal and three assists while Christophe Lalonde had two goals and a single went to Will Smith.
Troy Vance from Daniel Sprong and Anthony Cortese scored on the power play midway through the third period.
Alex Dubeau made 27 saves for the win while Mason McDoald stopped 25 shots in the loss.
The game was scoreless after the first while Moncton took a 3-0 lead to the third.
Moncton improved to 28-25-0-2 while Charlottetown falls to 17-31-1-4.
