Andrews nets 26th goal of season for Mooseheads

Halifax Mooseheads forward Brent Andrews, of Hunter River, scored his 26th goal of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League regular season on Saturday night.

Andrews scored a power-play goal at 6:24 of the second period to tie the game against the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada at 3-3. The Armada went on to win the game 4-3 in a shootout, despite being outshot 40-22.

Darcy Ashley of Brooklyn, P.E.I., added two assists for the Mooseheads.

Ashley scored the Mooseheads’ lone goal of the eight-round shootout. Andrews was also one of Halifax’s shooters in the shootout.

Former Charlottetown Islanders forward Matt Bursey scored for the Armada.
