LeClair’s three assists lead Aces in junior C hockey

Miller, MacIsaac help Lynx sink Capitals

TIGNISH – Jacob LeClair earned three assists to lead the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces to a 4-3 victory over the North River Flames on Friday night.

The Tignish Credit Union Arena was the site of the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League game.

Troy Gallant (2), Charlie Bernard and Dylan Ellis scored for the Aces, who improved to 13-6-1. Riley Shea (2), Kirk Ramsay, Karter Hackett and Tyler Howard, who was named the Regal Cresting player of the game, chipped in with other assists.

For the Flames, Cameron MacMurdo (2-1) and Jeremy MacAulay found the back of the net.

The Aces held period leads of 2-1 and 3-1.

Winning goaltender was Chase Dyment.

Southside 6 Summerside 1

Rob Miller and Joel MacIsaac each scored hat tricks to account for the Southside Lynx’s scoring in a 6-1 triumph over the Summerside Source for Sports Capitals.

The Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior Hockey League contest was played at The Plex in Slemon Park on Friday night.

Cody Dawson (3), Marshall Thomas (2), Andy Murphy (2), Ivan MacPhail, Blake MacKenzie, Colton Dawson and Alex MacLeod earned assists.

Taylor Albert, assisted by Nathan Arsenault and Tyler Dexter, netted the lone goal for Summerside, which had its four-game winning streak snapped and dropped to 11-9-1.

The Lynx built period leads of 2-0 and 4-1.

Dylan Garnhum earned the goaltending decision over Catlin Sonier.
