WIld drop close game to Rivermen in major midget hockey

MIRAMICHI, N.B. —  The Kensington Monaghan Farms Wild found themselves in another tight game on Friday night.

The Miramichi Rivermen edged the visiting Wild 4-3 in a N.B.-P.E.I. Major Midget Hockey League game. It was the third one-goal game in a row for the Wild.

Daniel Gallant (2), Tristan Young and Riley Scott scored for the Rivermen.

Colton Chiasson (2) and Cole Hackett (1-2) answered for the Wild. Sam Jay (2), Max Morrison and Bailey Webster were credited with helpers.

Bradley Shea tended goal for the Wild.

The Wild hosts the Charlottetown Islanders tonight at 7:30 p.m.

The two teams are scheduled to play again Sunday at MacLaouchlan Arena a 1:45 p.m.
