Islanders host Screaming Eagles tonight
The Charlottetown Islanders will be sporting a new look tonight when they play the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.
The Islanders will be wearing their pink jerseys in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The jerseys will be raffled off to fans at the game as a way to raise funds for breast cancer research, education and awareness.
The team will also be donating a portion of ticket sales to the Atlantic chapter of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Fans are encouraged to wear pink tonight as well to show their support.
The Islanders (7-1-0-1) host the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles (4-3-0-2) tonight at 7 p.m. at Eastlink Centre.
The Islanders defeated Cape Breton 3-2 in a shootout on Sept. 14 and 5-4 on Sept. 20.
