Capitals defeat Slammers for 15 straight win

SUMMERSIDE – The Summerside Western Capitals’ winning streak has reached 15 games in the Maritime Hockey League.

The Capitals, behind a two-goal effort from Chris Caissy and a 24-save effort from Jacob Riley, defeated the Woodstock Slammers 4-1 before 1,443 fans at Eastlink Arena on Sunday afternoon.

Scott Trask and Jason Seed also scored for the Capitals, who improved their record to 34-6-2-0. The Slammers fell to 23-14-2-0.
