Capitals down Timberwolves

Michael Crocock and Danny Chiasson each had three-point nights as the Summerside Western Capitals doubled the Miramichi Timberwolves 6-3 Saturday in Maritime Hockey League action.

Crocock and Chiasson each had a goal and two assists as the Caps improved to 33-6-2.

JP Harvey and Jason Seed each added a goal and a helper while Craig MacLaughlin and Scott Trask also notched markers in the road victory.

Patrick Volpe had two assists while singles went to Alex Gallant, Mitchell Maynard, Jonathan Aubertin and Christopher Caissy.

Mitchell McMullin had two goals for Miramichi (18-18-1-1).

Kevin Bailie stopped 24 shots for the win while Julien Daigle made 30 saves in the loss.

The victory extended the Capitals undefeated streak to 14 games.
