Dana Fraser and Mike MacIsaac each scored twice Saturday as the UPEI Panthers thumped the St. Thomas Tommies 7-2 in Atlantic University Sport men's hockey action.

Tyler Brown, Travis McIsaac and Cole MacMillan added singles for the Panthers.

MacIsaac had three assists to complete a five-point night. Fraser, Chris DeSousa and Matthew Brenton all added two helpers while singles went to Ryan Taylor, Jordan Knox, Zach McCullough, Brown and Nathan McQuaid.

Yuri Cheremetiev and Robert Zanbeek scored for St. Thomas while Chris Morehouse had two assists.

Wayne Savage made 29 saves for the win while Jonathan Groenheyde stopped 18 of 25 shots before being replaced by Justin Collier, who stopped all four shots he faces.

The Panthers led 2-1 after the first and 4-2 after 40 minutes of play.

UPEI improves to 12-9-2 while St. Thomas falls to 3-19-1.
