The 20th anniversary of the Charlottetown Boys & Girls Club Celebrity Golf Classic goes today at the Belvedere Golf Club.
More than $500,000 has been raised for the children's charity since the tournament’s inception.
The funds go into assisting the club cover the cost of offering programs, hire staff and special activities for kids, like a beach trip during summer camps.
The celebrity list has included the likes of Red Storey, Marcel Dionne, Serge Savard Sr., Brad Richards, Forbes Kennedy and Olympic skiers Liisa Savijarvi and Karen Stemmle.
And Boston Bruins defenceman Adam McQuaid has been involved for about a decade.
