Casey completes Brier play 2-9

OTTAWA – P.E.I. completed round-robin play at the 2016 Tim Hortons Brier with a record of 2-9 (won-lost).

The Adam Casey-skipped rink, also consisting of third stone David Mathers, second stone Anson Carmody and lead Robbie Doherty, fell 8-3 to Manitoba’s Mike McEwen in the final round-robin draw of the Canadian men’s curling championship on Friday morning.

P.E.I., Nova Scotia, Yukon and Nunavut, will compete in the 2017 Brier pre-qualification round in St. John's, N.L.

    oh oh, pei in regulation round, awful tourney for casey and team, too bad they are horrible, but maybe next year a diff team will be better for pei
