Game tied going to the 10th end
New Brunswick scored three in the 10th to beat Prince Edward Island 9-6 Wednesday at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Montreal.
The win evens Andrea Crawford’s record at 3-3 while the Kim Dolan-skipped rink from the Charlottetown Curling Complex is now 2-5.
New Brunswick scored singles in the first two ends and the teams traded singles the next two ends as P.E.I. fell behind 3-1. They tied it with a deuce in the fifth and the teams exchanged singles the next two ends and then deuces to send the game to the 10th tied 6-6.
Team P.E.I., which includes third Rebecca Jean MacDonald, second Sinead Dolan and lead Michala Robison, plays Canada (6-0) tonight at 8:30 p.m. Atlantic.
