Kim Dolan is going to the P.E.I. Scotties Tournament of Hearts final.

The Charlottetown Curling Complex rink defeated the Shirley Berry foursome from the Cornwall Curling Club/Silver Fox Curling and Yacht Club 8-4 in Saturday night’s semifinal.

Leading 4-3 in the seventh, Dolan scored a triple to take a commanding lead she would not relinquish.

The Dolan rink includes third Rebecca Jean MacDonald, second Sinead Dolan, lead Michala Robison and alternate Jackie Reid.

Dolan will play the Kathy O’Rourke rink from the host Charlottetown Curling Complex in Sunday’s 2 p.m. final.

Dolan went 2-2 in the round robin while O’Rourke went undefeated and did not play on Saturday. O’Rourke defeated Dolan 8-4 Thursday, scoring three in the ninth and final end.

Dolan is a six-time winner of the provincial Scotties as a skip (2012, 1992, 1990, 1987, 1985 and 1983) while O’Rourke won it in 2010 and 2002 as a skip. They were teammates in 1999 on the winning Rebecca Jean MacPhee rink.

Sunday's winner advances to the nationals from Feb. 1 to 9 in Montreal.
