Ironmen lose bronze-medal game at baseball nationals

The Chatham Ironmen lost 11-0 in five innings to Ontario Two in Sunday’s bronze-medal game at the Canadian senior men’s baseball championship in St. John’s, N.L.

Morgan MacLean of the Charlottetown Gaudet’s Auto Body Islanders was behind the plate for Chatham, the New Brunswick representative team, and went 0-for-2 batting.

Pitcher and fellow Islander Jordan Stevenson gave up three runs on four hits in one and a third innings in relief for the Ironmen.

Islanders’ Brody MacDonald, also on the Chatham roster, didn’t play.
