The Morell Chevies scored four runs in the decisive third inning and cruised to a 5-2 win over the host Freetown Royals in Kings County Baseball League action Monday night.
Andrew O'Shea went the distance for the Chevies, scattering seven hits and striking out six.
Dylan MacQuaid took the loss, allowing all five runs, two earned, over three innings of work before handing the ball to Blaise Roberts.
Jarrod Laybolt paced the Chevy attack with four hits, while Scott Ellsworth, Colin Hansen and Logan Gallant each added a pair.
Spencer McAllister, Spencer Montgomery and Roberts all had two hits for the Royals.
