Prince Edward Island's baseball coaching staffs have been selected for the under-18 midget and under-21 junior nationals and under-17 Canada Cup.
Matt O'Shea will be the head coach of the under-18 squad. He has 30 years of experience, including being an assistant at the Canada Games in 2001 and 2005 and with the Youth Selects from 1996 to 1998 and 2000.
Mike Cameron will serve as his assistant coach. He has 20 years of experience, including being a head coach or an assistant coach at several national championships at peewee, Youth Selects, midget and three years with the Summerside Chevy's in the New Brunswick junior league that made two trips to nationals.
David McQuaid will be the head coach and Gerard McInnis the assistant for the under-21 junior squad.
McQuaid, who was the head coach of the 2012 and 2013 under-18 P.E.I. midget team, has won several provincial and Atlantic titles with Cornwall midget and bantam teams. He has 42 years of coaching experience.
McInnis has 15 years of experience, including going to the 2009 bantam AAA nationals, 2012 midget nationals and was the Cornwall midget assistant coach in 2012 and 2013.
David MacIsaac will be the head coach of the under-17 Canada Cup squad with Jared Doyle, James Philips and Stephen Leclair serving as assistants.
MacIsaac has 34 years of experience, including six years being co-ordinator/lead instructor of weekly winter baseball clinics for all ages. He attended the national developmental coaching seminar in Florida this year.
Doyle has 21 years of playing experience, including Canada Games, Youth Selects and other peewee/bantam nationals. He played four years at UNB, winning two national titles in 2007 and 2008.
Philips has 15 years of coaching experience, including finishing seventh and sixth at the 2005 and 2006 peewee nationals, respectively, and sixth at the bantam nationals in 2012.
He also attended the Florida seminar this year.
Leclair has more than 25 years of coaching experience, earning several provincial and Atlantic titles. He has attended national youth selection camp, was selected for Canada Games team and had a successful career at the junior and senior levels.
