Members of Stratford 3 Point Aerospace Athletics do some high fives after they avoided elimination when they defeated the Peakes Bombers 8-6 in the KCBL played at MacNeil Field in Stratford Sunday.
Stratford 3 Points Aerospace Athletics staved off elimination Sunday in the Kings County Baseball League final.
The Athletics defeated the Peakes Bombers 8-6 in Game 4 of their best-of-seven final. They trail 3-1 with Game 5 going Thursday at 7 p.m. Memorial Field in Charlottetown.
Corey Dougay was the winning pitcher on Sunday with relief from Tyler Johnston. Josh Coffin went the distance in taking the loss.
Allister Smith, Shawn Macdougall and Adam Smith all had two hits to lead the Athletics at the plate.
The Bombers were led by Colin Myers, Joe Gardiner and Coffin who each had two hits.
