UPEI Panthers guard Tyler Scott was named a second team all-Canadian Wednesday at the Canadian Interuniversity Sport awards gala in Vancouver.

It is the second year in a row the Clayton Park, N.S., native has received the honour.

He averaged 25.1 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game this season for UPEI.

UNB guard Javon Masters made the first all-star team after leading the nation in scoring at 28 points per game. Scott was third.

None of the AUS award winners won at the nationals with most of the awards going to Ontario universities.
