The Island Storm was dialed in from downtown Sunday afternoon in Saint John, N.B.
The Storm went 19-for-26 (73 per cent) from three-point territory en route to a 137-92 victory over the Mill Rats in National Basketball League of Canada play.
By comparison, Saint John was 4-for-24 (17 per cent) on its three-point attempts.
Morgan Lewis led the Storm with 21 points, eight rebounds and seven assists while going 6-for-6 from three-point territory.
Malcolm Grant had 20 points and 12 assists as seven Storm players scored double-digit points. Rashad Whack and Tirrell Baines each had 19, Brian Addison 18. Brent Jennings 15 and Chad Posthumus had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Gabe Freeman led the Mill Rats with 18 points.
The Storm held quarter leads of 30-18, 56-47 and after posting 42 third-quarter points went to the fourth up 98-71.
The Storm, which has won three of its last four games, improved to 10-15 while the Mill Rats are 14-10.
The teams play again on Thursday at 7 p.m. in a St. Patrick’s Day game at the Eastlink Centre.
