Donahoe named to AUS second all-star team

UPEI Panthers senior point guard Katie Donahoe has been named a second team all-conference player.

The Atlantic University Sport made the announcement Thursday in Halifax during its banquet. The playoffs begin on Friday.

Donahoe, a five-foot-six Riverview, N.B., native, averaged 11.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists while playing the most minutes in the country at 759. She averaged 37.95 minutes a game. Teams play 40-minute games.

Defensive player of the year – Kennisha-Shanice Luberisse, Saint Mary’s.

Student-athlete community service award – Ainsley MacIntyre, Dalhousie.
