The Holland College Hurricanes basketball teams play their final home games of the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association (ACAA) regular season this weekend.
The women play today at 2 p.m. followed by the men at 4 pm. against the St. Thomas Tommies. The men's team takes on the Dal AC Rams Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
The women's Hurricanes (15-1) lead the ACAA and are ranked fourth in the national rankings.
The Tommies (5-10) are fifth in the conference.
Jenea Barrett leads the ACAA at 17.8 points per game, Marvia Dean leads the conference in field-goal percentage (60.6) and rebounds per game (11.6) while Jazlin Barker leads in three-point percentage (40) and assists (89) and Ashley Moss is No. 1 in blocks with 67.
The men's Hurricanes (17-1) lead the ACAA standings and moved to No. 2 in the national rankings this week.
St. Thomas (5-13) sits in seventh place in the conference while the Rams (0-19) are last.
Roosevelt (Chicken) Whyley leads the conference in points per game (19.5) and rebounds per game (9) while Trevone Grant has the most steals with 50 and Tevin Bailey leads in blocks with 23.
Holland College will conclude its regular season schedules on Feb. 27 when both teams take on the Crandall Chargers at 2 and 4 p.m. in Moncton before playing the playoffs March 4 to 6 at the Mount Saint Vincent in Halifax.
