Storm snaps three-game losing streak with road win

Brent Jennings had 27 points Friday to pace the Island Storm to a 100-94 road victory over the Windsor Express in National Basketball League of Canada play.

Nick Evans added 20 points and 10 rebounds while Brian Addison had 17 points and a game-high 16 rebounds for the Storm.

Chris Commons had 26 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Express while former Storm players Brandon Robinson had 20 points and Adrian Moss eight assists.

The Storm held quarter leads of 31-19, 53-46 and 74-73.

The Storm's four new players all saw action, combining for 16 points, led by point guard Josiah Turner's eight points, eight assists and seven rebounds.

The win improves the Island squad to 5-8 and snaps a three-game losing streak. They complete their Ontario road trip Sunday with a 3 p.m. contest against the London Lightning.
