The Summerside Chrysler Dodge Eagles scored seven runs in the first two innings en route to 7-0 victory Missouri’s Kelso FP.

They are 2-0 after the first day of action at the North American Fastpitch Association (NAFA) World Series in Quad Cities, Iowa.

Mitch Hardy picked up his second win of the day by throwing a two-hitter in the five-inning game. He stuck out 11.

Jamie Betts went 2-for-2 with two runs and an RBI, Chris Craig was 1-for-1 with two runs and an RBI. John Ellsworth was 1-for-2 and drove in two runs while Jason Smallman was 1-for-2 with two RBIs.

Mike MacIsaac scored two runs while Darcy Harris scored a run and drove one in.
