LUCERNE, Switzerland – Emily Cameron closed out a month-long European tour on a high note here Sunday.
The daughter of Scott and Susan Cameron of Wilmot Valley teamed with Kate Goodfellow of Perth, Ont.; Carling Zeeman of Cambridge, Ont., and Antje Von Seydlitz-Kurzbach of Smithers, B.C., to win a silver medal in the A final of the women’s quadruple sculls at World Rowing Cup 3.
The World Rowing Cup 3 is the last competition before the 2014 world rowing championships in late August.
Cameron, a graduate of Three Oaks Senior High School in Summerside, trains full time with the Canadian national team.
