Kings beat Capitals in midget AAA hockey

Ben Miller and Kenny McKinnon each scored twice and paced the Kings County Kings to a 5-4 win over the Summerside Hemphill GM Capitals in P.E.I. Midget AAA Hockey League action Wednesday in Summerside.

Miller also added an assist. Kevin MacLeod (1-1) had the other Kings goal. Colby Mooney chipped in two helpers.

Kings County outshot the Capitals 29-25 and went 2-for-3 on the power play. Summerside was 2-for-6 with the extra man.

Owen Arsenault (1-2), Chasse Gallant (1-2), Jesse MacFarlane (1-1) and Logan Vandervelden scored for Summerside, which trailed 2-1 after the first period and 4-3 at the second intermission.

Kings goalie Nolan Compton earned the win over Caps netminder Koby Bridges.
