Moncton visits Eastlink Centre for 2 p.m. NBL of Canada contest

The Island Storm is back on home court today at 2 p.m. against the Moncton Miracles.

The Storm (12-13) looks to get back to .500 with a win today against the Miracles (9-17). Moncton has had the Storm’s number of late, winning the last three meetings.

Two of the Storm’s newest additions, Nick Okorie and Ed Jones, combined for 38 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds in Friday night’s victory. Antonio Ballard was the Storm’s best player again, scoring 26 and adding 12 rebounds for his 14th double-double of the season.

During today’s game the Passion Elite Cheerleading Club will be doing a routine at halftime while the members of the Canadian Cancer Society, P.E.I. Division will be in the house selling toonies for a toonie toss for some great prizes.
