Miracles storm past Island squad in NBL of Canada action

The Moncton Miracles outscored the Island Storm by 12 points in the fourth quarter to erase a five-point deficit and post a 104-97 victory Friday night.

The two National Basketball League of Canada teams play again tonight in Moncton at 7 p.m.

The Storm fell to 10-7 while the Miracles improved to 3-15, with two of their wins coming over the Island squad.

Greg Plummer led the Storm with 20 points while Antonio Ballard had another double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

The Miracles’ Johnny Mayhane led all scorers with 30 points.
