Antonio Ballard drives to the basket in recent Island Storm game against the Moncton Miracles in Charlottetown

The Island Storm-Moncton Miracles game scheduled for Tuesday, at 7 p.m., at Eastlink Centre has been cancelled because of weather-related travel problems the Moncton squad experienced after its game against the Express in Windsor, Ont.

Moncton (2-11) lost to Windsor 115-101 in Sunday action in the National Basketball League of Canada and had to remain in Ontario.

The Storm beat the Halifax Rainmen 108-107 on Sunday and upped its record to 7-5.

The game will be rescheduled. 

Tickets and vouchers for Tuesday game can be used for the Storm's game Sunday versus Windsor. Game time is 2 p.m. at Eastlink Centre.

In other league news, Storm forward Antonio Ballard was named NBL player of the week after the six-foot, five-inch forward averaged a double-double (24.5 points per game, 12.5 rebounds per game) in two Storm victories.
