The Island Storm made it two wins in a row, beating the Saint John Mill Rats 106-103 in front of 1,471 fans Friday night in National Basketball League of Canada action at Eastlink Centre in Charlottetown.
Antonio Ballard continues his banner year, scoring 31 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Al Stewart scored 16 points and had nine rebounds from the point guard position.
In total, the Storm had five players in double figures. The Mill Rats had six players in double figures, led by Chris Mathews who scored 22 points and Anthony Anderson with 21.
The Storm hits the road on Sunday afternoon, travelling to Halifax to take on the Rainmen in their first regular season matchup of the season and then come back home for a Tuesday night encounter with Moncton Miracle.
