Panthers set new school records Saturday morning

The home UPEI Panthers saw two more school records fall Saturday morning at the 2013 Subway Atlantic University Sport Swimming Championships at UPEI.  Rooske Wagemakers established a new Panther mark in the women's 400-metre freestyle, and Zach Laustsen did the same in the men's 200-metre butterfly. Both qualified for tonight's final. Wagemakers qualified with the eighth fastest time in the 400 freestyle and Laustsen finished fourth in both the 200-metre and 50-metre butterfly events.  Organizers have decided to go forward with tonight's finals at 6 p.m. despite the storm.
