Visiting Storm trips Miracles in NBL of Canada action

MONCTON — Stephen McDowell scored 28 points to lead the Summerside Storm to an 119-104 win over the Moncton Miracles in National Basketball League of Canada action Thursday night.

Mike Williams added 19 points for the Storm (8-11) while Julien Allen had 17 and Eric Gilchrese had 16.

Darrell Wonge led the Miracles (3-15) with 27 points, followed by Akeem Wright with 20 and Trayvon Lathan with 19.

The Storm led 71-53 at the half.

 The Storm travels to London, Ont., to face the league-leading Lightning (14-4) tonight. 

The Storm then returns home to host the Oshawa Power on Thursday, Jan. 12, before heading back out on the road to face the Quebec Kebs on Jan. 15.
