Acadia beats UPEI women's basketball team 86-54

The UPEI Panthers women's basketball team was downed 86-54 by the Acadia Axemen at the Chi Wan Young Sports Centre in Charlottetown Saturday night.

Stefanie Chapman led Acadia with 21 points for the win. Emma Duinker had 15.

Jenna Jones got 13 points for the Panthers, while Danielle MacDonald had 11.

The teams will face each other again Sunday, Nov. 27 at the Sports Centre. Game time is 1 p.m.
