Opening ceremonies tonight at 6 p.m. at UPEI

The BMO national senior championships have begun in Charlottetown.
Canada’s best senior amateur teams are contesting the men’s Challenge Trophy and the women’s Jubilee Trophy.
Action began at UPEI this morning with the men's teams. Alberta and British Columbia teams took to the field at 9:30 a.m. At noon, Manitoba played Saskatchewan.
Quebec kicks off against Nova Scotia at 4 p.m. this afternoon, and P.E.I. (Churchill Arms) will play Newfoundland and Labrador this evening at 7 p.m.
Opening ceremonies take place this evening as well, at 6 p.m.
The women have their turn tomorrow.
