Game 5 is now slated for tonight

The Charlottetown Gaudet’s Auto Body Islanders and the Moncton Mets will try to resume their New Brunswick Senior Baseball League semifinal series tonight in Moncton.

Game time is 7:30 p.m.

The teams were scheduled to play Game 5 of their series Wednesday night, but it was postponed due to wet weather.

The best-of-seven series is tied 2-2.

Game 6 has been moved from tonight to Friday at Memorial Field, starting at 7:30 p.m.

Game 7, if needed, is scheduled for Saturday at 7 p.m. in Moncton.

KCBL final

Also postponed Wednesday night was the opening game in the Kings County Baseball League championship series.

The defending champion Morell Chevies were scheduled to host the Stratford Murphy’s Pharmacies Athletics.

No announcement has been made when the game will be played.

SRW race card

Harness racing at Summerside Raceway was also postponed Wednesday due to the weather.

The card has been moved to Friday with first post at 7 p.m.
