There was a time when I liked to hear Mike Duffy debate with just about any public figure. Then he became a senator, supposedly representing the people of P.E.I. What a letdown.

The last time I saw Mike Duffy on television he was sneaking out through a kitchen so he would not have to face reporters.

I was absolutely amazed at his arrogance. He was sneaking out seemingly so he would not have to face public scrutiny, yet he tried to shame a reporter with the words, "You should be doing adult things."

I have to wonder what happens to the brain when power overcomes common sense and consideration for the people he is supposed to represent.
